The Colosseum

The Flavian Amphitheatre, opened 80 AD under Titus. Up to 80,000 spectators came here to watch gladiator combats, animal hunts, and mock naval battles.

• Combo ticket (Colosseum + Roman Forum + Palatine Hill) ~€18, valid 24 hours — book ahead at coopculture.it
• Pick a timed Colosseum entry slot — that's the only fixed part
• Want arena floor or underground access? Separate higher-tier ticket, often only available on guided tours — book weeks ahead
• Allow 1.5–2 hours inside
• Wear closed-toe shoes, bring water + a hat
